A World of Fun at Your Fingertips

Take the kids on a wild ride when you visit the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park. Just a short drive from Welk San Diego, the park allows animals to interact and roam free within enclosures modeled after their natural habitats. The park is also known for its seasonal events such as the spring Butterfly Encounter, where your family can wander through an aviary full of thousands of fluttering butterflies.

For animal lovers of all types, head south to the city of San Diego where you’ll find the San Diego Zoo and the SeaWorld San Diego. The San Diego Zoo is world famous for its innovative enclosures and state-of-the-art facilities that allow you to enjoy animals while preserving their natural surroundings. Just a short drive away, SeaWorld San Diego lets you explore the world under the sea with shows, exhibits and encounters that are designed to educate and amaze.

For younger family members, head west of Welk San Diego to Legoland® California. Designed just for kids, Legoland has entire mini-land constructed out of Lego blocks as well as rides, games, activities and more. It’s sure to be a family adventure everyone can enjoy.

At Welk’s Desert Oasis, there’s still a world of family entertainment. Located just outside of Palm Springs, California, this shimmering oasis features plenty of family fun right at the resort. If thrilling roller coasters are your idea of fun, Welk Branson is the place for you! During the summer, head to Whitewater Water Park where you can cool off as you slide down some of the wildest water rides in the country! For more adventure, head to Celebration City Amusement Park or Silver Dollar City Adventure Parks where family shows, shopping, dining and rides will have everyone grinning from ear to ear.
